Cardi B to Headline Jamaica’s BZR WKND Festival in October 2026

Cardi B is set to make history this fall, headlining Jamaica’s BZR WKND Festival at the National Stadium in Kingston on October 18, 2026.

This event will mark the first time the rapper headlines a stadium event, a crowning achievement for a decade-long career.

The three-day festival, running from October 16–18, will feature a mix of international stars and local talent, with Cardi B closing out the final night under the banner “Cardi B & Friends.”

This appearance is especially significant when considering Cardi B’s Dominican roots. The “Bodak Yellow” and “AH HA” star has consistently celebrated her multicultural heritage, often blending her dominance in American rap with great pride in her Caribbean lineage.

Her headline slot is expected to draw massive crowds, blending her chart-topping hits with the island’s energetic sound system culture.

The Bronx-born rapper currently holds the record for most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles (5) among female rappers, as well as most diamond-certified songs (4), cementing her status as one of the most successful artists of her generation. Fans anticipate that her setlist will include staples like “Bodak Yellow,” “I Like It,” and “WAP,” alongside newer material that continues to dominate streaming platforms.

Cardi B’s stadium headline has probably been in the works for a while now. Around 4 months ago, the artist joked on X (formerly Twitter) about her anticipation for a true dancehall-fueled stage. Sharing photos of herself in an uncharacteristically modest, fully covered-up outfit, she wrote, “Not showing skin till Vybz Kartel concert.”

Beyond the music, Cardi B’s presence at BZR WKND is expected to boost Jamaica’s live entertainment industry. Recently, another hip-hop giant spent some time in the Caribbean country.
