Who we are
HipHopNCulture is a community site and store operated by HipHopNCulture RI, Inc. Our address is hiphopnculture.com.
What we collect
Account details. When you register we store your username, email address, password (hashed, never in plain text), and optionally the Reddit username you choose to display.
What you post. Topics, posts, comments and votes are stored against your account. Posts, comments and your karma score are public. Individual votes are not shown to other members.
Store orders. If you buy something we store your order, billing and shipping details for accounting and delivery. Crypto payments are processed by our payment server; we never see or store your wallet keys.
Technical data. Standard server logs, and cookies that keep you logged in and remember your cart.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Sharing
We share data only with the services needed to run the site: our hosting provider, our payment processor for orders, and our email provider for account mail such as password resets. Embedded content from other sites (for example YouTube videos) behaves as if you visited that site directly and is subject to their own policies.
How long we keep it
Comments and posts are kept indefinitely so conversations stay readable. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal details; posts may be retained in anonymised form so threads remain coherent.
